Based in Konstanz at Lake Constance, I specialise in business and portrait photography with a focus on application photos that are both professional and personal. My work aims to present candidates and professionals in a way that conveys competence, authenticity and presence — key elements when recruiters and clients make first impressions online or on paper. I guide clients through poses and expressions so that natural confidence appears on camera. Style and approach: I favour clear composition and lighting that highlights personality. Black-and-white photography plays an important role in my work for its depth and mood, while colour is used where it enhances personal branding — for example on LinkedIn or company websites. Technically I work with compact professional gear (FUJI XPRO 2, Leica Q2 and occasional reflector use) to create flattering, natural light. The process: Before the session we discuss your goals — application documents, LinkedIn/Xing profile, corporate portraits or team headshots. On the day I create a relaxed environment, provide unobtrusive direction and capture a range of looks and settings. For local sessions in and around Konstanz I often offer two potential dates to account for weather and the best light; if outside shooting isn’t possible we can move to my home studio on Reichenauerstraße.
