I’m Björn Sum, a people photographer based in Unterkrozingen who focuses on one thing above all: capturing the personality of the person in front of the camera. For application photos and business portraits that means no stiff posing—my priority is authenticity and expression. A photo that conveys warmth and credibility will often open more doors than one that is technically perfect but lacks life. What sets me apart is years of experience in portrait and people photography, a calm and empathetic approach, and a trained eye for the decisive moment. My roots in analog photography gave me a strong sense for composition and light; today I combine that sensibility with modern digital tools to produce timeless, professional application photos. My process is simple and client-focused: we start with a short conversation about the role you’re applying for and the impression you want to make (formal, creative, approachable, etc.). In my studio in Unterkrozingen—or on location—we choose suitable backgrounds, lighting and outfits. During the session I guide you through poses and expressions in a relaxed, pragmatic way so even those who are camera-shy feel comfortable. After the shoot I carefully retouch the selected images to keep them natural and true to you. I create image styles suited for CVs, LinkedIn and Xing profiles or company websites—whether you want a classic business portrait or a more open, contemporary look, the visual language will be tailored to your goals.
