I photograph faces — and for application photos that means showing you in a way that communicates competence, poise and personality at a glance. As a portrait and business photographer based in Berlin (working nationally), I have photographed people from politics, business and the media since 1998, translating presence and character into images that do more than look good: they work. Before the shoot we briefly discuss your goals: the role you’re applying for, the tone that fits your industry, and the impression you want to make. From there I design light, background and posture so the result feels authentic, yet professional. In studio or on location I create a relaxed atmosphere — no hiding behind poses, but a careful conversation in which genuine moments emerge. Light and shadow are my tools to carve out presence and clarity. Retouching is subtle and respectful; I keep the image true to you while making it work technically for application documents and online profiles.
