I’m Katrin Schander, a photographer based in Mühlheim am Main with more than 30 years of experience and a sensitive, observant approach. While I photograph weddings and families, my business and portrait work is especially focused on creating application photos and LinkedIn/XING profile images that feel authentic and professional. Why choose a professional application photo? Because the right portrait opens doors: it builds trust, communicates competence and gives a positive first impression long before a personal interview. I start with a short briefing to clarify the style, outfit and target platforms (printed application, LinkedIn, XING). During the session I create a relaxed atmosphere so even camera‑shy people feel comfortable. With gentle guidance on posture, gaze and expression we capture natural business portraits that reflect who you are. My workflow is practical and personal: I shoot on location in Mühlheim/Frankfurt or in suitable nearby settings, use mobile lighting if needed and apply subtle retouching. In addition to application photos I create business portraits, profile images for LinkedIn/XING and employee/team photos — always with the aim of visualising your professional identity honestly and effectively. My background as a reportage photographer and yoga teacher influences my work: I observe, listen and set people at ease. The result are images that don’t feel staged but convey presence and warmth.
